EMPLOYEE BENEFITS -- HEALTH INSURANCE

Option #1: The convenience of one bill and one single point of contact! As a member of the New York Council of Nonprofits you will have access to our third party administration. For a minimal fee NYCON can assist you in offering and managing a health insurance plan(s) for your nonprofit. Through plan administration we offer the convenience of one bill and one single point of contact for all of your insurance questions.  NYCON also offer administration for EPO Plans (high deductible, lower cost). How Do We Enroll In These Group Plans?

  1. Join NYCON
  2. Click here to view Plan Options & Rates  (One employee? Click here.)
  3. Complete the NYCON Member Employer Information Form
  4. Sign the Agency Resolution  - (Board President´s Signature Required)
  5. Work with our staff to complete the HMO Enrollment Forms (see below)
  6. Submit payment and paperwork

Option #2: Located Outside the Capital Region, Mid-Hudson Valley or Central NY? 
Would you like to administer your own benefits, or have a plan tailored to your exact needs?
 
Please note: NYCON only offers administration through carriers that will issue us a group plan in a particular region. If  you do not see your region listed on the rate sheet below, or if you would like a program tailored to fit your needs that you can adminster yourself, NYCON can still help your nonprofit through our insurance subsidiary,

In Summary, an FSA is:

  • A way to save money on day care and health care services as well as over-the-counter items for you and your family!
  • An account where you contribute money deducted from your salary, before taxes are withheld, incur eligible expenses and get reimbursed
  • A way to pay less in taxes and save more more for employees and the organization.

Program Rates for 2011
1 to 10 Employees: $6.50 per person/per month

11 to 25 Employees: $5.50 per person/per month

26 to 50 Employees: $5.00 per person/per month

Over 50 Employees: $4.50 per person/per month
