Nonprofit Training: Human Resource Law from A to Z for Your Nonprofit [Utica]

The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties invites nonprofit staff and board members to attend a free training workshop titled "Human Resource Law from A to Z for Your Nonprofit" presented by Lauren Holupko, Esq., Associate Attorney, NYCON.

Registration and continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., presentation from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is required as seating is limited.

In the ever-changing world of human resources, nonprofits face a variety of concerns related to legal compliance and workforce performance. However, due to the inherent nature and structure of nonprofits, they contend with unique HR challenges that, if not managed effectively, threaten to interfere with the fulfillment of their missions. This presentation provides an overview of labor laws, and discusses hot-button issues confronting nonprofits and how to best manage and address them.

Each presentation will also include an update on changes to The Foundation’s grantmaking process and timeline.

Contact The Foundation at 315-735-8212 or info@foundationhoc.org for additional information.
