Presented by Susan Weinrich, VP of Organizational Development Services
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM EDT
Some of the most important steps to creating and implementing a successful strategic planning process happen even before the actual planning process begins. Key decision-making before or at the very beginning of the process significantly influences the effectiveness of the endeavor. Who should lead the process? Who else should be involved and how? What will be the best use of resources and time? Do we have the infrastructure in place to construct and follow-through on a meaningful roadmap? In particular when it comes to arts organizations, understanding from the get-go the difference between artistic and strategic vision, and various stakeholders' roles in shaping each, is crucial. This webinar will focus on these questions, and answers, as they relate to your arts or cultural organization and hopefully help you to "plan a planning" process that will propel you forward!
This webinar is part of the NYSCA Statewide Organizational Development Services program provided by NYCON via our partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
