This program is mandated for all private employers with at least 1 employee. When fully phased in, employees will be able to receive a maximum of 67% of their pay for up to 12 weeks. An insurance policy must be purchased alongside the employers Statutory Disability Insurance Policy and deductions may have started as recently as July 1st, 2017. Learn how this new policy will impact your organization and employees and what you can start doing to prepare yourself for this upcoming regulation.
