Board Leadership is an engaging, virtual training series that develops participants’ knowledge and skills to effectively serve on a non-profit board. The program, a partnership with the New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON), provides a powerful combination of statewide expertise with local vision and insight to develop high-performing board members and leaders throughout the Mohawk Valley for maximum community impact.
NYCON delivers the core trainings, which are balanced with region-specific “fireside chat” sessions facilitated by CLE with community leaders. The curriculum is designed to provide knowledge of the non-profit model and the governance responsibilities associated with board service.
Module 3: Fiduciary Oversight
4-6 P.M., MARCH 23, ZOOM
Examines the fiduciary duties of boards, nonprofit financials, and risk management needs within federal, state, and local laws.
TARGET
Current non-profit board members and CEOs as well as anyone who have never served on a board, but may be interested.

$40 per person, per session
