About
How can we work together to tackle our sector’s largest challenges and become a thriving sector, meeting the needs of all communities?
Recent federal events have shown how critical collaboration is to our sector to ensure shared success. No one can predict what we'll be facing at the federal level in May, but this will give us an opportunity to continue to discuss those challenges.
Join us on April 21, 2026, at the Albany Capital Center for the first NYCON Summit, a day to come together to learn from each other, envision what the ideal nonprofit sector looks like, and to start working on action steps to get there.
Our day will include:
- Keynote: Diane Yentel, President & CEO, National Council of Nonprofits (NCN).
- Advocacy: Updates on federal and state issues that impact nonprofits, plus how organizations can engage.
- Breakouts: Two rounds of afternoon breakout sessions to dig into practical topics; we reconvene at 3:30 PM for a closeout.
- Networking: Connect with peers, funders, and stakeholders throughout the day.
- Next steps: We’ll summarize key takeaways and announce action steps.
