Colette Ellis is an Executive Coach and Organizational Development Consultant with over two decades of experience. She empowers nonprofit executives and board members to navigate complex transitions, cultivate emotional resilience, and develop strong business leadership skills.

Colette has a deep history of supporting the social impact sector. She has guided leaders at prominent organizations, including United Way of New York City, Goodwill Industries, and the Public Library Association, through major organizational shifts. She specializes in designing change management and team-building programs that significantly improve communication, trust, and alignment between executive staff and boards of directors.

Colette supports leaders holistically by integrating her certifications in Stress Management (Yale School of Medicine) and Trauma-Informed Care (NYS OASAS) to help ensure executives can effectively manage burnout during high-stakes leadership transitions. Her evidence-based approach is further informed by her time as an Adjunct Professor at New York University Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, where she taught leaders how to build open, inclusive work environments through effective diversity management.

Whether facilitating a board retreat or providing one-on-one coaching, Colette is a dynamic partner who leaves nonprofit leaders feeling decisive, resilient, and fully equipped to manage their organizations into the future.

She earned a BA in English from Dartmouth College and an MPA in Public Finance from New York University Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
