The National Council of Nonprofits is proud to be teaming up with RespectAbility to bring NYCON Members, a free online training series on creating accessible and inclusive workplaces for people with disabilities. This series and partnership were established following RespectAbility’s eye-opening report, “Disability in Philanthropy & Nonprofits: A Study on the Inclusion and Exclusion of the 1-in-5 People Who Live with a Disability and What You Can Do to Make Things Better.” The report reveals that while 75 percent of the nonprofit sector wants to include people with disabilities, most don’t know how to do it.”
The webinar series begins November 6 and runs through January 15. Below is a snapshot of the timeline and topics that will be covered. You can get more information about each webinar here.
