NYCON Is Hiring: Vice President of Nonprofit Capacity Building

December 15, 2025 - New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON) is seeking an experienced nonprofit leader to join our team as Vice President of Nonprofit Capacity Building. This leadership role is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver impactful programs that strengthen nonprofit organizations across New York State.

The Vice President will lead NYCON’s Organizational Development Services, provide direct training and consultation to nonprofits, supervise staff and consultants, and collaborate with NYCON leadership to respond to the evolving needs of the sector. This full-time, exempt position offers a 35-hour workweek, flexible scheduling, remote work (after orientation), and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement, paid leave, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Applicants should have 5–10 years of nonprofit sector experience, strong facilitation and leadership skills, and experience supporting nonprofit organizations.
