Lisa Toback, CPA, PMP, Head of Consulting Services

Lisa Toback is an experienced nonprofit consultant and process reengineer who brings a CPA and CFO perspective to every engagement. As a strategic leader, Lisa guides her team in helping mission-driven organizations improve their operations. She specializes in operational efficiency and leads “Best Practice Reviews” to help organizations streamline workflows, strengthen internal controls, and enhance effectiveness. She facilitates visioning sessions, process redesign, and the implementation of a wide range of accounting technologies.

Before joining Kiwi Partners, Lisa spent over a decade with Ernst and Young's Entrepreneurial Management Consulting group in NYC, leading system reviews, process improvements, and financial system implementations for nonprofit clients.

Lisa is a licensed CPA and holds a BS in Accounting from SUNY Albany. She is also a Project Management Professional (PMP), a QBO Certified ProAdvisor, and a certified Sage Intacct Implementation and Accounting Specialist.

Kate Koraia, SVP of Tech Consulting, MBA, SIAP, PMP

Kate is an experienced finance professional and project manager, dedicated to streamlining financial ecosystems for nonprofit organizations. Kate's expertise extends to ERP system reviews, selections, and implementations, along with staff training. Her work includes re-engineering financial systems, improving accounting processes, and implementing cutting-edge technology to enhance efficiency and reporting. Kate is an invaluable resource for her clients and colleagues. Kate's commitment to empowering nonprofit leaders drives her to maximize impact and inspire change.

Kate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Tbilisi State University and an MBA from DeVry University, with a concentration in Accounting and Financial Management. Kate has completed certification in Digital Transformation from MIT. Kate has also completed the Entrepreneurship and Financial Leadership Program from Harvard Business School. Kate is a Certified Sage Intacct Accounting and Implementation Specialist, Certified Xero Partner, and Certified Blockchain Technology Analyst.

Lora Lahoda, Senior Director, Consulting Services
