Diversifying Your Funding Options
Many challenges in the sector point to the need for nonprofits to further diversify their funding. Beyond the typical fundraising tools – individual donors, special events, grants, etc. – what are new ways to earn revenue for your organization?
In this conversation, BRIDGES Executive Director Carlos Martinez, LMSW, will talk with NYCON CEO Megan Allen about new ideas he has put in place at BRIDGES to create new revenue streams, from cafes to a sensory space. He will share lessons he’s learned along the way and ideas on how we all can start brainstorming ideas that make sense for our nonprofits, supporting our missions while providing new funding.
BRIDGES is located in Rockland County and provides advocacy and leadership toward an accessible, integrated community, promoting health and autonomy for people with disabilities.
